Display in-depth info in Firefox Downloads Window

Download Manager in Firefox is not much informative as it only displays the Name, Size, Time and the main Domain of Download.

Download Panel Add-on for Firefox adds relatively more useful information to the downloads during and after the downloads are complete. It displays:

  • Full URL of the site from where the file was downloaded next to the Referrer (the site the download was initiated on)
  • Actual v/s Completed Size in bytes when download is in Progress
  • Full directory path where the file is stored on your computer
  • Start and End Time of the download
You can configure what information should it display using the Options.

The add-on can be really useful for people who keep there downloads in the Download History.

Default Download Manager in Firefox also provides this information but in a complicated way where you need to do lots of clicking work Download Manager does the same with just a single click.
